Golisimo Responsible Gambling: Account Controls and Support Routes
Last Updated: August 1, 2026
We treat gambling as entertainment with financial risk, never as income. Wins are not guaranteed, previous results do not change the next independent game outcome, and increasing a stake cannot recover a loss reliably. Use only disposable money and stop when play no longer feels controlled.
1. Age and eligibility
You must meet the legal gambling age that applies in your location. We use age and identity checks and may request documents. Parents and carers should protect devices, payment credentials and passwords; filtering software can add another barrier.
2. Account controls
| Control | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Deposit limit | Caps money added over a selected period |
| Loss limit | Caps net loss over the chosen period |
| Wager limit | Caps total stakes |
| Session limit | Ends or warns about extended play |
| Reality check | Shows elapsed time and account activity |
| Cooling-off | Temporarily blocks play |
| Self-exclusion | Blocks account use for the selected period |
| Marketing preference | Stops promotional email, SMS or push messages |
3. Changing limits
Lower limits can take effect immediately. Requests to raise or remove a protective limit may require a cooling period and confirmation. Support can explain the controlling period, but cannot bypass a self-exclusion or active cooling-off request.
4. Signs that play is causing harm
Warning signs include spending more than planned, hiding activity, borrowing to gamble, missing work or family commitments, chasing losses, increasing stakes for the same excitement, feeling anxious when not playing or treating a win as the solution to debt.
5. Ten self-assessment questions
Ask whether you gamble longer than intended; exceed your budget; chase losses; borrow money; conceal activity; neglect responsibilities; feel restless when stopping; use gambling to escape; argue about money; or continue despite harm. One worrying answer is enough reason to pause and seek help.
6. Common myths
A slot is not due after a losing run. Raising a stake does not repair earlier losses. A near miss does not predict the next result. Loyalty status does not alter RNG outcomes. A bonus increases playing funds but also carries conditions; it does not remove risk.
7. Financial blocking tools
Bank gambling blocks, merchant controls, transaction alerts and account limits can reduce impulsive deposits. Gamban and BetBlocker can block gambling sites across supported devices. Use several controls together when one barrier is easy to reverse.
8. Independent support
| Organisation | Coverage | Website |
|---|---|---|
| Gambling Therapy | Global | gamblingtherapy.org |
| Gamblers Anonymous | Global | gamblersanonymous.org |
| GamCare | United Kingdom and online | gamcare.org.uk |
| GambleAware | Information and support | gambleaware.org |
9. Friends and family
Do not lend money to cover gambling losses. Discuss specific behaviour without blame, protect shared finances and seek confidential advice from an independent support organisation. We can explain general account controls but cannot disclose another player’s personal data.
10. Contact us
Use live chat or [email protected] to request limits, cooling-off, self-exclusion, marketing suppression or account closure. State the control and duration clearly. If you are in immediate danger or a financial crisis, contact local emergency or crisis services.
